// About 'Aspen Ideas Festival 2016'
In June 2016, to mark a decade of activity, the Aspen Institute Romania hosted the inaugural edition of the Aspen Ideas Festival in Sibiu. Organized in partnership with the Sibiu International Theatre Festival and UniCredit Romania, the event took place in the evocative, post-industrial venue where Goethe’s 'Faust' is staged. The festival was designed to focus on enhancing quality of life, alongside the environmental, community, and civic sustainability of emerging societal and business models.
