// About 'Aspen Ideas Festival 2016'
In June 2016, Aspen Institute Romania organized in Sibiu, Romania, the first edition of the Aspen Ideas Festival for celebrating ten years of activity. The event, organized in partnership with Sibiu International Theater Festival and UniCredit Romania, took place at the post-industrial theater hall where Goethe’s Faust is staged. The event was planned to 'focus on the improvement of the quality of life, as well as environmental, community and civic sustainability of emergent societal and business models'.
