Sound Fabric is a concert-show designed around the wordplay fabrică(factory) (RO) / fabric (ENG), ie, the mechanism and the fabric, two musical concepts and music generating forces. The sound universe is presented in a palette of colors spanning from acoustic instruments to electronic media, tapping the obsession of minimally-repetitive music. The human gesture is complementing this gigantic complex machine with choreographer Cristina Lilienfeld.

The Romanian Music Information Center (CIMRO) in Romania is a project of the National University of Music in Bucharest. Its mission is to promote Romanian contemporary and experimental music within the country and abroad.
