Sound Fabric is a concert-performance built around the wordplay between the Romanian 'fabrică' (factory) and the English 'fabric' - exploring the mechanism and the texture as two fundamental music-generating forces. The sonic universe unfolds through a color palette ranging from acoustic instruments to electronic media, tapping into the hypnotic obsession of minimalist-repetitive music. Choreographer Cristina Lilienfeld complements this complex, gigantic machine with the nuance of human gesture.
